T. Hawk Street Fighter Series 2 (Sota)

T. Hawk

T.Hawk Street Fighter Series 2  (Sota)

I bought T. Hawk off a seller off Criagslist. He was selling almost his whole collection of Action Figures. I mostly bought his Robotech collection plus other figures he was trying to get ride of. He decided to sell because he had a family now. I didn't have T. Hawk in my collection for long. I had to make room for other figures I also purchased.

T. Hawk came with

• 4 swappable hands
• Hawk (looks more like an eagle, can mount to right shoulder)

T. Hawk vs BIGMANILA

T. Hawk's entire tribe and village has been left in ruins by the hands of M. Bison and the Shadaloo organisation. Having his tribe driven from their home land, his father murdered by Bison, and his true love Julia brainwashed into becoming a member of Bison's "Dolls" project, T. Hawk wants nothing more than to take down M. Bison. Learning about the Dolls program and the Living Incubator program, T. Hawk has vowed to free Julia and prevent M. Bison from ever brainwashing another person ever again.

Being a grappler, T. Hawk is very slow but hits like a truck. Unlike his counterpart Zangief, who can get by using head games and various tools that don't involve rotating the joystick, T. Hawk's game is all about getting in your opponents face, throwing them, and not letting them escape. He is the most extreme of grapplers, considering he has a limited number of tools to get in. The key to playing T. Hawk is patience, patience, patience. Wait for your opponent to make a mistake and condition them with fake-outs and pokes to divert their attention as you go in for a command grab.

Unfortunately I didn't take that many pictures of T. Hawk. It's too bad too he was a cool figure.

(TT) Street Fighter Series 1 Ryu Action Figure (SOTA TOYS)

TOY TUESDAY

*For Toys Tuesdays are the days I'm going to post Action Figures that still new in there package that are part of my collection. Many more to come.*

Street Fighter Series 1 Ryu Action Figure

Street Fighter was one of my favorite video games but I was never really good at it LOL. I guess I didn't want to spend the quarters to get better at the game. Thank God for game consoles.

I bought this Ryu's Action Figure from a guy on Craigslist. He was getting rid of his whole collection but also keeping some. His wife didn't really like them too much and he had kids and didn't have much room any more. Being a fan of Street Fighter this action figure in my opinion is one of the best ones out there. The sculpt and articulation are detailed close to the video game.

BIO

Ryu is usually a silent, humble, serious individual whose severity is often set side by side against the light-hearted, fiery persona of his best friend, Ken

An orphaned child with no knowledge of who his parents are or if they are still alive. When Ryu was a young child, he was adopted by Gouken and began living with him as well as learning the mysteriousand dangerous martial art known as Ansatsuken  (Assassination fist, used to describe any martial art developed with the intention of killing the opponent.)

VANCOUVER'S SECRET STASH

Located in Burnaby B.C. just right across Metrotown Mall  is Metropolis Comics and Toys. I mostly come here for the Action Figures. It's very convenient for me. Every time I'm at Mertotown I go and drop by and see what that have in stock. The bad thing is I always seem to purchase something, LOL. Well you heard the collector saying. "BUY NOW REGRET LATER".  Metropolis Comic and Toys have a very huge selection of everything. From Marvel, DC, Gundam, Transformers and many more. There prices are pretty good and they are pretty competitive prices. I still remember when they used to be inside Metrotown Mall. Even though they moved it's still have great store. Im not lazy to walk across the street from Metrotown.

I been to one of there toy convention called Metrocon were most individual private sales or retail stores come and sell there figures. I bought a couple of Macross figures but the had lots of things from Gundam to Transformers.

Here are some photos I taken. They were nice to let me take some shot of there store.

There is free parking in the back or just park at Metrotown and walk over.
