ROBOTECH Invid Shock Trooper

This is just one of many Invid Shock Trooper I had in my collection. I notice my studio was getting a little pack with figures so I decided to let this one go. Little sad to see it go but it was just collecting dust.

This figure was opened but never cut from it's inside packaging. It also had the original instruction and also some stickers. On the good side I still have two of the Invid Shock Trooper figures but loose, not in there box. A lot more fun. Here are a few pick of the figure before I parted with it.

Yes, again I found This Robotech action figure at a local Craigslist/Garage sale. I was surprised to find the Invid Shock Trooper still new in package. Well sort of new in package. When I was younger I could never really find and Robotech action figures. When I saw the sellers collection I was really excited.

Also known as: Gurab, Shocktrooper
Heavily Armed Invid Mainforce Mecha



Made by Matchbox in 1985. There is slightly less detail than the playmates and it has a different paint job, but other than that it's identical.

Vehicle holds one 3 3/4" figure.

Features: Opening Cockpit, Articulated Claws, Pivoting Shoulder Cannons

The Invid Shocktrooper is the standard front-line ground mecha of the Invid forces. Although capable of flight, the Shocktrooper is not suited for air-to-air combat, leaving that job to the faster and more agile fighter and scout Invid mecha. It's heavy weapons package makes it devastating air-to-ground attacks.

The Robotech Invid Shock Trooper was turned into a Ferengi pistol in two DS9 episodes and even in ENT: "Acquisition" (though we should expect their technology to progress in 220 years). One shoulder cannon of the toy was made into the barrel, a leg became the handle of the Trek weapon.
