TMNT Story

The evolution of the Turtles…

A boy’s bowl of pet turtles falls into the stench of an underground city sewer. They land on Splinter, a penniless but powerful ninja master who lives in the muck.

Splinter’s enemy, Shredder (leader of the evil Foot Clan), pours a disgusting green ooze over Splinter (and accidentally, the Turtles!), hoping to zap him dead.

Instead, the turtle pets mutate into turtle teens, and Splinter turns into the biggest rat ever to face a trap.

Splinter, the big cheese leader, teaches the Turtles the ways of the Ninja! Together, they form a kick-stomping fighting team for the side of good against the deadly Foot Clan! Get ready for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

Get the Good, the Bad and the Accessories!

(Shredder) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1980's

Shredder The Foot Clan

Oroku Saki "The Shredder"

The Shredder action figure was in my collection later on after I got the four TMNT figures. I needed a Villain to fight my other TMNT figures LOL. Even if hes not that poseable he still looks pretty cool with all his armament and weapons. The best part is that he has a real cape (LOVE IT!!!)

80'S Cartoon Shredder

INFO

The Shredder was the leader of the Foot Clan. He was the main villain of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Animated Series. Shredder was frequently assisted by his Mutant henchmen, Bebop and Rocksteady, and was bossed around by Krang.

Long ago in Japan, Oroku Saki and Hamato Yoshi were both members of the Foot Clan. Oroku Saki was enemies with Hamato Yoshi. Jealous of Yoshi's leadership, Saki came up with a plan to get rid of him. Saki made his move the day that a master sensei- arrived at the Foot School. Saki pinned the back of Yoshi's kimono with a knife to the wall, which prevented him from bowing to show respect for the sensei, and everyone considered an insult.

Then, when Yoshi found the knife and pulled it out, they considered it a plot to kill the sensei, so Yoshi was banished from the Foot Clan. From then on, Saki took over Foot Clan and took the once noble clan and turned it into an army of crime. Not content with having banished Yoshi from the Foot, Saki went after Yoshi, and followed him to New York. We assume that was when Saki somehow met up with Krang, the alien warlord from Dimension X, who armed him with all sorts of technology that ranged from robotic Foot Soldiers to the colossal Technodrome. Wearing new steel bladed armour, Oroku Saki became The Shredder.

The Bad Guy Leader

After eventually finding Yoshi, Shredder tried to kill him by pouring the mysterious chemical Mutagen down a drain onto him, not knowing it would instead mutate him into a giant rat named Splinter, and also give birth to his worst enemies, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In that incarnation.

"Tonight, I dine on Turtle soup!"

Shredder continued his crime wave throughout New York, and sent his men to steal all sorts of advanced technology throughout the city, as well as posing as a security service, where he sent his own men to rob the places that he was supposed to be securing later. When news reporter, April O'Neil started reporting the possibility of Ninjas being responsible for those crimes, Shredder sent his Gang of Thugs to silence her. April, however, was rescued by the Turtles.

In the last two seasons of the show, the Turtles finally banish The Shredder and Krang to Dimension X. They destroy the engines and the "transdimensional portal" of the Technodrome preventing them from returning to Earth.

Leader of the Foot Clan
Turtles Forever Episode

Shredder, along with Krang, Rocksteady, and Bebop, was a main character in Turtles Forever. After a routine battle with the Turtles in which the Technodrome's Interdimensional Portal was accidentally damaged, a temporal anomaly occurred which trapped the Technodrome and all participants in the 2003 Universe. Shredder sought aid from the Utrom Shredder to help defeat the Turtles, but that attempt backfired: Ch'rell simply took over the Technodrome and upgraded it to a lethally armed mobile fortress. Shredder and Krang appeared as background characters following that coup d'etat, finally grew disillusioned with Ch'rell, and they aided the Turtles in their final battle against their common enemy. Afterwards, Shredder and Krang returned with 'their' Turtles to their home dimension on a temporary truce, though they swore that they would get back to business with their archenemies soon enough.

Zentraedi Tactical Battle Pod / Micronized Zentraedi Warrior (PLAYMATES - MATCHBOX)

Ahhh Robotech. I guess if you been following my Blog Robotech is one of my all time favourite cartoons/anime  when I was a kid. The Micronized Zentradi Warrior was one of my first Robotech action figures I bought when I was in Elementary school at a local used toy store. I bought the Playmates Bottle pod on a Craigslist add recently. I'm not sure if you noticed but The Zentradi Action Figure has some authentic battle damage due to some fire crackers when we had Action Figure wars with my brother.

Zentraedi Tactical Battle Pod
Also known as: Regult, Esbeliben Regult

This version of the vehicle was made in 1994 by Playmates.

Standard Infantry Battlepod of the Zentraedi Armada

Mecha Class: Battlepod.
Crew: 1 Zentraedi pilot.

Depth: 8.1m
Height: 17.4m
Width: 8.0m
Weight: 37 tons
Max ground speed: 282 kph

ARMAMENT:
  • 2 x quadruple-barrelled medium beam cannons mounted on front
  • 2 x single barrel light cannons (2000 rounds) mounted on bottom
  • 2 x single barrel light pulse beam cannons on top

 Micronized Zentraedi Warrior

Info On Back Of Card

Micronized Zentraedi Warrior

Age: Undetermined
Rank: Private

In order to infiltrate the SDF-1 Battle Fortress, this Zentraedi warrior has been micronized (shrunk from normal Zentraedi size-60 feet, to human size-6 feet). Once on board the SDF-1 and after prolonged exposure to the Micronians, the Robotech Masters fears are realised as the intense training and genetic engineering of the Zentraedi warriors becomes undermined.
Many defect to the RDF and join the Micronians.

The Tactical Battlepod is the standard Zentraedi infantry mecha that is most frequently piloted during the First Robotech War. Known as the Regult within the Zentraedi ranks, it can utilise its multiple thrusters to navigate challenging surface terrain or manoeuvre in space combat. This versatile battle-tested design has been built in staggering quantities and has spawned a line of variants for a wide range of combat roles.

Among the strong points of the Battlepod are simplicity, firepower, speed and mobility. The mecha is designed for rapid and efficient manufacture in automated assembly lines and is typically deployed in large numbers for mass attacks. The mecha is easy to service in the field, a necessity considering the limited technical knowledge of the average Zentraedi soldier.

The destructive firepower of the two main cannons is capable of dealing with big armoured targets such as Earth Destroids. An array of secondary armament trades firepower for coverage against lighter fast-moving targets. The mecha's giant articulated legs allow it to advance or jump quickly past most obstacles and it can even function underwater.

The main disadvantage of the Battlepod is its vulnerability as armour protection has been sacrificed for mobility. The shape of its body does not lend itself to deflecting incoming fire and its power system has a tendency to explode when pierced by explosive rounds.

These weak spots are consistent with the Zentraedi strategy of victory by overwhelming force with little regard to the survival of the individual.

Battle Damage From the Action Figure Wars

The Zentraedi Reminiscing on the Action Figure War
This vehicle was made by Matchbox in 1985

When my brother and I were young we used fire crackers for our Toy Wars we used alot of Action Figures. I made it look like a real battle. The bad thing is we lost alot of action figures and many vehicles.

How did he survived nearly on scaved?
Damage was caused by a jumping jack placed right in the cockpit.

Battle Damage inside The Cockpit
Many Mighty Mights and Whistling Dixies were fired on the battle pod

Broken Pieces
After a few years in storage and even damage it still looks pretty cool. I also bought the Matchbox Battle pod at a local used toy store when I was a kid.

More pics to come soon for the Zentraedi Officer's Battle Pod

This is the first Zentradi Action figure I got when I was a Kid. I found him in storage with the rest of my G.I. Joes. His marks he carries are from my brother and I Action Figure wars that we had with using fire works and fire crackers. I had an original Battle Pod but It was missing its main cannons and the front cockpit damage was a little busted up. We put a Jumping Jack  firecraker thinking it was just a fire cracker. So instead of blowing up a bit and making some smoke it started to light different colors inside and smoke up. The cockpit door was melted and the Zentradi Warrior carries his battle scares. Some people might be angry that we damaged the pod but it  did look awsome in the in the war. It was worth it XD.
