TMNT Story

The evolution of the Turtles…

A boy’s bowl of pet turtles falls into the stench of an underground city sewer. They land on Splinter, a penniless but powerful ninja master who lives in the muck.

Splinter’s enemy, Shredder (leader of the evil Foot Clan), pours a disgusting green ooze over Splinter (and accidentally, the Turtles!), hoping to zap him dead.

Instead, the turtle pets mutate into turtle teens, and Splinter turns into the biggest rat ever to face a trap.

Splinter, the big cheese leader, teaches the Turtles the ways of the Ninja! Together, they form a kick-stomping fighting team for the side of good against the deadly Foot Clan! Get ready for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

Get the Good, the Bad and the Accessories!

(Shredder) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1980's

Shredder The Foot Clan

Oroku Saki "The Shredder"

The Shredder action figure was in my collection later on after I got the four TMNT figures. I needed a Villain to fight my other TMNT figures LOL. Even if hes not that poseable he still looks pretty cool with all his armament and weapons. The best part is that he has a real cape (LOVE IT!!!)

80'S Cartoon Shredder

INFO

The Shredder was the leader of the Foot Clan. He was the main villain of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Animated Series. Shredder was frequently assisted by his Mutant henchmen, Bebop and Rocksteady, and was bossed around by Krang.

Long ago in Japan, Oroku Saki and Hamato Yoshi were both members of the Foot Clan. Oroku Saki was enemies with Hamato Yoshi. Jealous of Yoshi's leadership, Saki came up with a plan to get rid of him. Saki made his move the day that a master sensei- arrived at the Foot School. Saki pinned the back of Yoshi's kimono with a knife to the wall, which prevented him from bowing to show respect for the sensei, and everyone considered an insult.

Helmet

Then, when Yoshi found the knife and pulled it out, they considered it a plot to kill the sensei, so Yoshi was banished from the Foot Clan. From then on, Saki took over Foot Clan and took the once noble clan and turned it into an army of crime. Not content with having banished Yoshi from the Foot, Saki went after Yoshi, and followed him to New York. We assume that was when Saki somehow met up with Krang, the alien warlord from Dimension X, who armed him with all sorts of technology that ranged from robotic Foot Soldiers to the colossal Technodrome. Wearing new steel bladed armour, Oroku Saki became The Shredder.

The Bad Guy Leader

After eventually finding Yoshi, Shredder tried to kill him by pouring the mysterious chemical Mutagen down a drain onto him, not knowing it would instead mutate him into a giant rat named Splinter, and also give birth to his worst enemies, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In that incarnation.

"Tonight, I dine on Turtle soup!"

Shredder continued his crime wave throughout New York, and sent his men to steal all sorts of advanced technology throughout the city, as well as posing as a security service, where he sent his own men to rob the places that he was supposed to be securing later. When news reporter, April O'Neil started reporting the possibility of Ninjas being responsible for those crimes, Shredder sent his Gang of Thugs to silence her. April, however, was rescued by the Turtles.

In the last two seasons of the show, the Turtles finally banish The Shredder and Krang to Dimension X. They destroy the engines and the "transdimensional portal" of the Technodrome preventing them from returning to Earth.

Leader of the Foot Clan
Turtles Forever Episode

Shredder, along with Krang, Rocksteady, and Bebop, was a main character in Turtles Forever. After a routine battle with the Turtles in which the Technodrome's Interdimensional Portal was accidentally damaged, a temporal anomaly occurred which trapped the Technodrome and all participants in the 2003 Universe. Shredder sought aid from the Utrom Shredder to help defeat the Turtles, but that attempt backfired: Ch'rell simply took over the Technodrome and upgraded it to a lethally armed mobile fortress. Shredder and Krang appeared as background characters following that coup d'etat, finally grew disillusioned with Ch'rell, and they aided the Turtles in their final battle against their common enemy. Afterwards, Shredder and Krang returned with 'their' Turtles to their home dimension on a temporary truce, though they swore that they would get back to business with their archenemies soon enough.

(Donatello) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1980's Playmates

1987 Donatello (Cartoon)

TMNT

"The Turtles' Creative Genius"

As far as I could remember Donatello may be the last turtle that I got to complete all four TMNT bothers. It took a bit for my brother and I to find him. Only time we went shopping when we were kids was with out parents.

Ninja Star and Turtles First Dagger

Donatello is the most scientificminded turtle, and is responsible for the creation of most of the Turtles' high-tech equipment, including the Turtle Van, the Turtle comms, and the Turtle Blimp. He also managed to build a working interdimensional portal though it is unknown how he found the necessary equipment to do so. He also thwarted a super knowledgeable Slash without any assistance. He wears a purple bandanna and, as with his other incarnations, he carries a Bo staff. The running gag in the show was that Donatello's inventions usually had the habit of breaking down or blowing up in his face, although there were many times the team relied on him whenever they were faced with scientific or mechanical problems.

Donatello seemed to be the least interested among his brothers towards human culture, and even reflected if being a normal turtle would have given them a much easier life. Despite this, it never deterred him from appreciating human food such as pizza, and even bothered to get himself a college degree through mail. In the rare moments when Leonardo was kidnapped or incapacitated, Donatello usually takes on the role as the group leader.

Kaiyodo Revoltech Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Donatello

Donatello is the brains of the team and a natural mechanical wizard when it comes to technology or fixing things.

Birthplace: Joe's Pet Place, Slowklahoma
Height: 4' on two legs
Weight: 145 lbs.
Age: 15
Shell: Hard as tank armor

D Belt

Donatello is the best idea Turtle you'll ever find. He's the brains of the group and the designer of the Turtle vehicles. Rather than use his bo or brawn, Donatello would prefer inventing some device or clever apparatus to foil the foe. Still, Don's one powerful reptile with his staff, which enables him to parry, vault and crush! Even Don gets "Turtle-sized" pleasure in stomping the Foot.

After a tough battle, Don relaxes by watching programs on his own invention - turtlevision.

(Raphael) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1980's

TMNT

"Cool, but Rude"
Raphael is the first Ninja Turtle I ever had. My brother got it as a gift from one of his friends for Christmas when we were in elementary school, after we got one we started to get more for our collection. I think watching the commercials really got me hook on the TMNT figures. Then the cartoon came.

Info

Opposed to being angry and sullen as in other versions, since the series is based on humour. Raphael is a sarcastic wise-guy, and supplies comic relief alongside Michelangelo, whose humour is usually attributed to his ignorance and spaciness. As a result, Michelangelo is the subject of Raphael's jokes more than any other Turtle. He frequently makes jokes that break the fourth wall.

Sai
Raphael is the wittiest Turtle you're likely to stumble over. If things aren't going his way, his tongue snaps out sarcastic jokes dipped in poison. Even though he's referred to as the snapping ninja, the Turtles know he means well.

Raph's clever skill with the deadly Sai allows him to strike at a distance and really keep the Foot in stitches. His way with a manhole cover has made him famous in sewers everywhere. Raph uses the 100 pound discs to flatten the Foot and to shield off Anti-Turtle blasts.

Hot-head and sharp sai expert!
RALPHAEL TORTISTICS

"Vital Tortistics"
As written on back of package

Weapons: Sai, Turtle Fist Daggers, Ninja Stars, Kama
Birthplace: Shelly's Pet City, New Hampshell
Height: 5' 1"
Weight: 147 lbs. with shell
Age: 15 (people) years
Shell: Hard as old chewing gum

SAI

Range-Short
Rarity-Common
Size -18"
Striking,Jabbing, Stabbing, Breaking bones, Disarming

Sai were small (10-24 inch) dagger-shaped truncheons that have 2 short prongs and on long on in the middle. They possibly derived from a pitchfork head, though farmers did use them to measure how far into the ground their seeds needed to be planted. Traditional sai are made of steel, or cheaper iron, and have no blades, yet are sometimes sharpened on the end to use for stabbing, despite being a blunt striking implement.

Ralph Kama & large dagger

Ralph Beginner Dagger

Shuriken

The Shuriken was not originally designed as a killing weapon. It was mostly used to distract or deter so the ninja could escape. While in the midst of a get-away, the Shuriken could be thrown at the samurai chasing the ninja, possibly making the samurai think twice about continuing the chase.
