Transformers Combiner Wars Ultra Magnus
I was really late in the game hunting for CW Ultra Magnus. I was not really too much of a fan, I also had a chance to purchase G1 Ultra Magnus from my cousin but passed ( A decision I later regret ). Until my other cousin purchased CW Ultra Magnus and he did look pretty cool. I was lucky to Find Ultra Magnus used, really good shape but some of his ratchet joints are pretty loose but still a good buy for $30.00 complete except without the box and collector card. The legend of Ultra Magnus is exceeded only by the legend of Optimus Prime. When Ultra Magnus was lost, the forces of justice would not let a warrior of his caliber fall. Minimus Ambus, using the power of his rare load bearer spark, enables Ultra Magnus to fight on.
The war between Autobot and Decepticon rages on, and with Ultra Magnus in the fight, the action gets more intense all the time! This awesome Ultra Magnus figure is a massive force for the Autobot cause in robot mode with a blaster on each arm and an appetite for justice. But when it’s time for an rumbling ground assault, he converts to a supercharged semi truck!.

| Minimus Ambus |
Minimus Ambus, true to his name, is a tiny dude. This diminutive robot has always had big dreams, however, wishing to be the kind of venerated Autobot who holds the line against evil and serves as a soldier in the Great War. Despite his small stature, Minimus Ambus is a type of Point One Percenter. As a "load-bearer", he has a specially-empowered spark that allows his body to survive drastic physical augmentations.
He is the spark brother of Dominus Ambus, with whom he shares their House's distinctive facial insignia and presumably his birthplace, Ambustus Minor. While Minimus does love his brother, he's also always felt overshadowed by Dominus's long string of accomplishments. It probably doesn't help that Minimus is usually a stiff, laconic sort, not very good at expressing what feelings he has.

The legend of Ultra Magnus began with the first 'bot to bear the name: a stern, no-nonsense Autobot who, during the early years of the war, fought alongside Orion Pax, Skids and the legendary Delta Magnus to contain the Decepticons. When Orion sided with Megatron to overthrow Zeta Prime's corrupt government, Magnus and his security forces stood with them, Overthrown but when Zeta was deposed, Megatron betrayed Orion and took over the planet, sending Magnus, Ironhide, and Bumblebee into hiding. They were captured when their safe house was raided by the Decepticons, but were soon liberated by Hot Rod and met back up with Orion, who had been transformed into Optimus Prime and awoken the dormant Metroplex. Alongside the entire Autobot army, Ultra Magnus then marched on the Citadel to fight Megatron for the control of Cybertron. After the Decepticons had been chased out of Iacon, Magnus aided Optimus Prime in inspecting the remains of Zeta Prime's cache of outlawed weaponry.

Minimus Ambus is a very small mini-figure that comes with Combiner Wars Ultra Magnus. Despite its tiny size, it is based on his "middle" augmentation armor rather than the tiny innermost robot. In robot mode, Minimus can "pilot" the Ultra Magnus robot; he even "wears" the Magnus head like a helmet. He cannot remain inside when the "Magnus Armor" is transformed, but he can transform into a Cybertronian hovercar which can then tab into a set of three grooves on the lower level of the Ultra Magnus trailer.

Having devised the Magnus Armor as a way to keep the legend of the "immortal lawman" Ultra Magnus alive after his passing, Chief Justice Tyrest selected Minimus Ambus to be the latest Autobot to wear it and serve as the duly-appointed enforcer of the Tyrest Accord. As Magnus, Minimus had many adventures, including hunting Scorponok across the galaxy and helping co-ordinate the counterattack against the encroaching forces of the Dead Universe. Following the end of the war, he befriended the human Verity Carlo and travelled with her for a time, but when Magnus transported the Wreckers on their disastrous mission on Garrus-9, she left him to take part in the action.

Only a few Autobots ever knew the truth of Magnus's identity; by the time of the 19th century, they included Optimus Prime, Ironhide, Prowl, and Bumblebee, the latter only aware because people tended to tell him their secrets. However, the secret did leak in the form of a conspiracy theory claiming that Ultra Magnus was "just a little guy in armor", though it wasn't widely believed.
