Successful assaults by COBRA forces have typically been the direct result of a superior combination of weaponry and tactics formulated by DESTRO. His business contacts allow him access to valuable intelligence information that he supplies to the COBRA organization.

I purchased Sigma 6 Destro around 2009 nine in my local comic shop (COMIC LAND) used and not fully complete. He was missing some rockets for his rocket launcher. Still had to grab him. for some reason I really love the Sigma 6 line. I love how there accessories the come with are detailed and I also like how they come with real cloth accessories not just plastic molds. Im still on the hunt for figures even some multiples for troop building.

Born in Callander, Scotland, Destro's full name is James McCullen Destro XXIV, and he is Laird of the Castle Destro in the Scottish Highlands. The Destro clan has designed and sold weapons for centuries, and Destro is the faceless power behind their current incarnation—M.A.R.S. (Military Armament Research System), a state-of-the-art weapons manufacturer and one of the largest multinational corporations in the world. As a businessman, Destro is cutthroat and unyielding and is able to maintain apartments and office buildings in most major cities of the world. His luxurious lifestyle outdoes most oil sheiks or shipping magnates. War is his business and passion: Destro believes in the spoils of war and the vast wealth M.A.R.S. provides. He hires mercenaries to stir up conflict in dangerous regions, then provides high-tech arms to any side able to meet his price. Continuing a tradition started by the first Destro, he will even sell to both sides of the same war.

Destro's key characteristics are his sense of honor, a calm demeanor, and love for Cobra's second-in-command, the Baroness. He wears a mask forged from beryllium steel, a tradition dating back to the Wars of the Three Kingdoms, when an ancestor of his was caught by Cromwell's men in the act of selling weapons to both sides. Forced to wear a steel mask for his crimes (neither side wanted to execute the ancestor because they still wanted the weapons he sold), the Destro clan has since turned it into a symbol of pride, passing it down from father to son for over 20 generations. He also wears on a neck chain his family crest bearing an ancient Scottish emblem symbolizing absolute power. Destro will sometimes enter battle himself, either as a member of Cobra Command, or against them if it's better for business. He respects the G.I. Joe Team for their combat skills, but detests them for wasting their skills to maintain peace. Destro and Cobra Commander despise each other but maintain an alliance of convenience. Although twice the tactician and three times the soldier of Cobra Commander, Destro's sense of honor works to his disadvantage in the face of Cobra Commander's ruthlessness.

I said it before and I'll say it again. "LOVE THE G.I. JOE SIGMA SIX LINE". I look for them every where I get a chance and even get a figure if i already have him at time.

I went to a local comic and toy trade show and asked a vendor with some G.I. Joe he was selling if he had any Sigma  6 figures. He just looked at me and said "I hate that line"! "Oh" I asked why? He said he hated the look and the design. I guess is not for every one. I guess more figures for me to collect. I'll be post more G.I. Joe Sigma 6 figures as soon as I can. Stay tuned.

SNAKE EYES spent his youth studying with masters of over thirty martial arts forms. He began his covert ops work in a mainstream intelligence division and was quickly spotted because of his mastery of ninja disciplines and his uncanny ability to move undetected. He was the most sought after operative for missions that required someone who could infiltrate secured areas that no one else had ever been able to access. During one mission, he used this specific knowledge to "join" a powerful ninja security force and get inside the compound of a deadly gang. He was chosen for the SIGMA 6 team for his superior martial arts skills and knowledge of ninja organisations.

Snake Eyes makes his appearance as part of the G.I. Joe: Sigma 6 toy series. As of September 2006, he has had seven 8" Sigma 6 Commando Scale Figures and been packaged with six different 2.5" Sigma Scale Mission Sets (Most are posed and do not have additional accessories, made at this scale for large vehicles of the Sigma 6 line). Snake-Eyes's custom motorcycle has been sold at the 8" scale, with the ability to transform into a hover cycle and equipped with many hidden weapons, and twice at the 2.5" scale. He has been sold with Timber once, at the 8" scale, and this is the first incarnation of Timber which was fully poseable, rather than being a solid molded piece.

Funny Story I got some G.I. Joe Sigma 6 figures from a local Comic store Comic Land. The Owner a cool guy always gives me a good deal. I later sold Snake Eyes on Craigslist (Big Regret) as always I needed the money at the moment and I also had Snake Eyes (MIB).

Few years later I found a ad on Craigslist selling Snake Eyes complete. It turns out hew was the same guy I sold Snake Eyes to. I also got Snake Eyes for a cheaper price than I sold him for.
