Competing with the Rust Renegades to find the Prime Cores first, Grimlock declared that what the Dinobot team needed was Slash. Shortly thereafter, following Grimlock's explanation of Slash's history and personality, Slash appeared. She declined to give details of her secret campaign on Cybertron, but the Dinobots soon turned their attention to the Quintus Prime Core and the Decepticon competition
